This weekend, I attended a Christmas party hosted by a new friend. It was a beautiful gathering of diverse people and brought me such delight!
One of the highlights was a passionate, loud game of 3’s — a gambling, roll-the-dice kinda game that brought out my competitive side and also provided an incredibly powerful example of how to get what you want.
The caveat here is that no amount of strategy can bring you what isn’t meant for you. BUT if the Universe doesn’t give you what you want, it’s because 1) there’s something better coming or 2) you’re being protected.
Remember, EVERYTHING happens for our benefit.
Back to my story!
My prime example was a woman who showed up with boss energy from the get-go. She brought two heavily packed envelopes of dollar bills and a variety of dice sets. She sat erect and allowed herself to have fun and laugh while losing but was intent on winning.
Throughout the games, I noticed the players who struggled to win moaning and groaning, even cussing the game! And while they kept a fun spirit, their frustration was clear.
However, she kept showing up intentionally, and played purposefully and her luck began to turn. Without any warning, she began winning round after round, throwing perfect sets and blowing all of us away. Different players challenged her in one-on-ones and endlessly she won!
After sitting back with my jaw on the ground, I saw it SO CLEARLY—why she was winning and how she had set herself up to get exactly what she wanted.
An overview:
She defined her goal—to win.
Clarity is key. If you don’t know what you want, the Universe can’t bring it to you.
She came prepared with a winning mentality—lots of dollar bills signifying her abundance regardless of the outcome.
Many people can clarify what they want but then don’t believe they can have it. A scarcity mentality (regardless of what you desire) won’t get you anywhere. Determine ways to feel abundant in your desire and you’ll start with the best energy to get you there!
She kept her head down during the losses and laughed along the way.
Even when things don’t go our way, staying light and easy is key. This shows the Universe you trust while it’s working in the background.
She put in the work—staying dedicated and neutral.
A deeper layer of trust mixed with action and detachment—a powerful combination for manifesting.
The Universe opened the heavens and dolla dolla bills rained down.
In essence, she knew what she wanted, she took action, remained detached from the outcome, had fun, and eventually all winnings landed in her lap!
When you want to cultivate a new relationship, find a new job, manifest more money in your life, improve your health—whatever it is—this is the formula. Yes, it’s simple but that’s why it’s so powerful.
This woman was an incredible example of how “let go and let God” in that she was ready to do her part and believed the rest would be taken care of. And she walked away with an extra stuffed envelope of cash to prove it!
